Lu Willis studied at Berkshire College of Art and Chelsea College of Art with an ND in Fashion Design, an HND in Fashion Design and a BA Hons in Illustration.
She paints in oils and gouache and generally concentrates on chrysanthemums and dahlias, but is also interested in cityscapes and life drawing.
Her main focus however is 'light' which can be explored in all of these genres.
She has shown widely in London, with the Sunday Times/Singer Friedlander Watercolour Show and the Royal Society of Painters in Watercolour amongst others.
Following her recent shift into painting with oils she has shown at the Cork Street Open, W1 and has just shown in Germany during May this year.
